Dante’s Dark Pursuit in Play’n GO’s New Slot

Play’n GO has released Cursed Moon Power Collection, a gothic horror slot built around coin gathering, a rising multiplier, and a layered progression system.

The Story Behind Dante’s Curse

At the center of the game is Dante, a vampire hunter who becomes what he once fought. Rather than surrender to that fate, he turns against the vampire code and sets out to defeat Dracula and reclaim his humanity.

The setting reinforces that grim arc with eerie woods, castle silhouettes, and a red cursed moon hanging overhead. Reels are filled with symbols such as wolves, zombies, Mr. Hyde, and vampires.

Core Features That Shape the Action

The slot uses a five-reel, four-row layout. Winning combinations come from matching adjacent symbols from left to right.

• Coin symbols land on the center reels.
• Slay Collector symbols appear on the outer reels.
• When both show up together, the Slay Collectors gather Coins and Instant Win symbols.
• Results can build through payline wins, collection events, and bonus-driven boosts.

Another important mechanic is the Soul Fire multiplier. It can activate in the base game when its symbol lands on the fifth reel, raising the value of collected Coins and Instant Win symbols, though it does not increase regular payline payouts.

Progression, Levels, and Free Spins

Play’n GO also added a five-step progression track that advances through Level Up symbols. Those symbols can move the meter during both the base game and Free Spins, but the biggest payoffs come once Free Spins unlock new tier-based features.

• Higher levels can double collection events.
• Later stages add stacked Money symbols to the middle reels.
• At the top level, every spin guarantees an Instant Win symbol.
• Level Lock symbols may preserve progress during Free Spins, so advancement can continue from a saved point.

That structure keeps the game moving forward even when the first run through the progression is not completed, giving players another path to reach the stronger effects later.

Play’n GO on the Design Goal

Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said the release was built to mirror Dante’s rise in power as the hunt intensifies. The collection system, multiplier, and level mechanic all work together to create that sense of escalation.
